Cookie policy
Last updated: 14 March 2026.
This page explains the cookies and similar technologies that the ZenTorq website uses, what each one does, and how you can change your preferences. We try to keep this list short on purpose.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed on your device by a website. Some cookies are deleted when you close the browser ("session cookies"); others stay until they expire or you remove them ("persistent cookies"). Cookies cannot run code or read other files on your device.
Cookies we use
Essential cookies (always on)
- PHPSESSID — a session identifier used to keep your booking form session secure between page loads. Expires when you close the browser.
- zt_cookie_choice — stores your cookie preference so we don't show the consent banner on every visit. Persistent, expires after 12 months. First-party.
Analytics cookies (off by default)
We do not run analytics cookies by default. If, in future, we add aggregated traffic measurement, the relevant cookies will be listed here and we'll only set them when you choose "Accept" on the cookie banner.
Advertising / tracking cookies
None. We don't run retargeting pixels and we don't share data with third-party ad networks.
Third-party services
Some pages embed an OpenStreetMap tile (the studio map on the contact page). When the map loads, OpenStreetMap may set its own cookies as part of its service. If you'd rather not load the map, you can simply not scroll to it — the rest of the page works without it.
Our pages also load Google Fonts to render typography. Google's font hosting may log a request from your browser, though it does not set tracking cookies for unauthenticated requests.
Managing your preferences
You can change your cookie choice at any time from the "Cookie preferences" button in the footer of any page. Selecting "Reject" will keep only essential cookies; selecting "Accept" allows future analytics cookies if we ever add them.
You can also clear all cookies through your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Firefox: Preferences → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
Changes to this policy
If we add or change cookies, we'll update this page with a new "last updated" date. Significant changes will trigger the cookie banner to appear again so you can make a fresh choice.
