Things first-time clients usually ask.
How long does a full ceramic coating actually take?
A Gtechniq Crystal Serum job is a two-day booking. Day one is decontamination, paint correction and panel wipe; day two is the application and a slow cure under controlled humidity. We avoid rushing the cure because that's where most coatings fail.
Do you wash daily drivers, or only restoration jobs?
Both. Roughly half of our slots are weekly maintenance washes for regulars. We don't take walk-ins because each bay is held for a single car at a time, but online bookings are usually open for the same week.
What's the difference between a wax and a ceramic coating?
Wax adds a soft, warm-looking layer for two to three months. Ceramic chemically bonds to the clear coat, lasts three to nine years and is harder than your factory paint. Waxes feel nicer to the eye; ceramics protect better in the long run.
Will you remove the swirl marks left by the previous detailer?
Yes — that's the most common reason people find us. We measure paint thickness with a gauge before correction and only remove what's safe; sometimes a one-stage correction is enough, sometimes we recommend two-stage. We tell you which before we start.
Do you handle EVs, including motorised charge-port flaps?
Yes. We work on Tesla, BYD, Ora, and Mercedes EQ regularly. We follow each manufacturer's wash mode guidance, dry around the charge port carefully, and avoid steam directly on door rubber seals.
How do I look after the coating once it's done?
Avoid automatic tunnels and rotary brushes — they create the swirl marks we just removed. Maintenance washes should use a pH-neutral shampoo and a soft mitt, ideally every 7–14 days. We include a starter aftercare kit with every coating.
Do you offer pickup and drop-off?
Within Bangsar, KL Sentral, Mid Valley, Damansara Heights and Mont Kiara — yes, on weekday slots. There's a small fuel surcharge for further suburbs. Mention it on your booking form and we'll quote before confirming.
